What experience do I need?
It depends on the course. Our Competent Crew is designed for complete beginners with
zero sailing experience. Day Skipper requires basic crew skills and theory knowledge.
Each course listing shows its prerequisites clearly.
Can I pay a deposit instead of the full amount?
Yes! Most courses offer a 25% deposit option at checkout. The remaining balance is due
28 days before your course start date. We'll send you a reminder.
What's included in the price?
All practical courses include your berth aboard, fuel, marina fees, course materials,
RYA certification, wet weather gear, and hot drinks. You just need to bring personal
clothing and contribute to the food kitty (typically £25–30).
What's the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 28 days before the course start date for a full refund.
Between 14–28 days, we offer a 50% refund or free transfer to another date.
Inside 14 days, we'll try to fill your place, and if we can, you get a full refund.
