The small print, in plain words.

What does the platform fee mean?

Each month we total the value of the bookings you took and charge 1.75% of it. If that comes to less than £49, you pay £49 for the month. There are no per-booking transaction fees on top. Optional modules are billed separately and do not count toward the minimum.

What counts towards the 1.75%?

Every booking and package purchase at its full value, however it was paid: by card through Broad Reach, by bank transfer, or in cash at the desk. When only a deposit has been collected, the full booking value still counts. The fee is on what you sell, not on how the money moved.

Are there any hidden fees?

None. Payment provider fees, such as Stripe's card processing charge, are billed by the provider directly. We add nothing on top of the 1.75%.

Can I try it before committing?

Yes. Signing up is free and there are no setup fees. You get every feature from day one, with free onboarding to help you set up. You only pay once you are taking bookings. How switching works.

What about VAT, GST or sales tax?

Broad Reach Bookings is an Australian company. Australian centres pay 10% GST on top of the fee, itemised on every invoice. UK and EU centres pay no VAT: as an overseas supplier, reverse charge rules apply and you account for any VAT on your own return. US centres have no sales tax added. The 1.75% rate is the same worldwide; only the minimum differs by currency.

Do I need the optional modules to get started?

No. The platform includes bookings, payments, CRM, email, reporting, certificates, waivers and the rest. The modules are there when you want them, each with a free 14-day trial.

What storage is included with the modules?

Each module that stores files (Vessel Maintenance, Team Messaging, Client Portal) includes a storage allowance. Beyond it, extra storage is £1.00 per GB a month, and we never block your uploads.

Can I get a discount for multiple centres?

Multi-centre organisations may qualify for volume discounts on the modules. Talk to us about an arrangement based on your number of locations.
