Pricing FAQ

What does "1.75% of bookings processed" mean?
Each month, we total the revenue from bookings processed through Broad Reach and charge 1.75% of that amount. If the total is less than £49, you simply pay £49 for the month. There are no per‑booking transaction fees on top of this. Add‑on fees are billed separately and do not count toward the minimum.
What counts towards the 1.75%?
Booking payments and package purchases processed through the platform. Payments you collect outside of Broad Reach (e.g. cash or direct bank transfer) are not included.
Are there any hidden fees?
None. Payment processing fees (e.g. Stripe's 1.4% + 20p) are charged directly by the payment provider — we don't add anything on top of our 1.75%.
Can I try it before committing?
Yes — signing up is completely free and there are no setup fees. You get full access to every feature from day one, and we include free onboarding to help you get set up. You only pay when you start processing bookings. Learn more about switching →
What about VAT / GST / sales tax?
Broad Reach is an Australian company. Australian centres pay 10% GST on top of the 1.75% fee — this is itemised on every invoice. UK and EU centres pay no VAT — as an overseas supplier, reverse charge rules apply and you self-account for any VAT on your own return. US centres — no sales tax is added. The 1.75% rate is the same worldwide; only the minimum differs by currency.
Do I need add‑ons to get started?
No. The core platform at 1.75% includes everything most centres need — bookings, payments, CRM, email, reporting, certifications, waivers, and more. Add‑ons are there when you're ready for them. Every add‑on includes a free 14‑day trial so you can try before you commit.
What storage is included with add‑ons?
Each add‑on that stores files (Vessel Maintenance, Team Messaging, Client Portal) includes a generous free storage allowance. Beyond that, additional storage is just £1/GB per month — and we never block your uploads.
Can I get a discount for multiple centres?
Multi‑centre organisations may qualify for volume discounts on add‑ons. Contact us for a custom arrangement based on your number of locations.
