Does this issue ASA certifications?
No — and be wary of anything that says it does. ASA certification is issued by your school through ASA, exactly as it is now. What this issues is your school’s own certificate of completion: your branding, your instructor’s signature, logged to the student record the moment a course finishes and emailed to them. It sits alongside the ASA paperwork rather than replacing any of it, and you can switch it off if you would rather issue everything by hand.
Is the ASA curriculum pre-loaded?
Yes. Every ASA standard is in the catalog from day one: ASA 101 Basic Keelboat, 103 Basic Coastal Cruising, 104 Bareboat Cruising, 105 Coastal Navigation, 106 Advanced Coastal Cruising, 114 Cruising Catamaran and the endorsements. You can also add your own non-ASA courses.
Does it handle multi-course, multi-boat scheduling?
Yes. You can run an ASA 101 and an ASA 104 off the same dock, share an instructor across two boats, and stack a coastal nav class on the same week. Conflicts are caught at the point of saving.
How do liability waivers and payment work?
Waivers are signed digitally on any device before arrival, with a full audit trail of who signed what and when. Payment runs through Stripe — card, Apple Pay and Google Pay — with deposits and balances if you take a deposit to hold a berth. Both are wired up from day one rather than being an integration you configure later.

We teach and charter. Does that work in one system?
Yes, and it is one of the better reasons to move. Charter is its own module rather than a course wearing a different label, with its own packages and rates. The part that matters is shared availability: a boat teaching an ASA 104 on Thursday is never offered out for charter on Thursday, because both draw on the same calendar. Switching takes most schools a single weekend.
