Sailing Booking Software
for schools, charters, clubs and trips.
Take bookings on your own website, schedule boats and people without conflicts, collect payments and waivers, and keep the fleet maintained — one platform built around how sailing businesses actually run.
Boats, courses, charters and crew — scheduled together, conflicts caught before you save.
Boats are not hotel rooms.
Most booking software was built for rooms, gyms and salons: one resource, one time slot, done. A sailing business books a boat and the person running it and the trip they’re on — around tides, weather and maintenance. Broad Reach models all of that, so the software does the conflict-checking instead of you.
Every kind of sailing business.
Courses, syllabus sign-off, certificates.
Scheduled courses across multiple boats and instructors, RYA, IYT and ASA catalogues pre-loaded or your own bespoke syllabus, digital sign-off sheets on the boat, and branded completion certificates issued automatically.
Sailing school software in depth →Quotes, boats and skippers — without double-booking.
Day and overnight charters, skippered or bareboat, priced flat, per person or in guest-count bands. Requests come in from your website; you assign the boat and skipper, send a quote and take payment on confirmation. Availability accounts for everything else the boat is doing that week.
See the charter features →Cabins sold by the berth.
Mile-builders, delivery trips, sailing holidays and flotillas: sell each cabin at its own price — aft, fore, twin, single — with allocation and capacity handled per berth. No spreadsheet of who sleeps where.
Trips and activities in depth →Short sessions, high volume, no phone calls.
Two-hour tasters, half-day hires, gift experiences and try-sails. Customers pick a slot and pay online; waivers are signed before they arrive; your team sees the day’s manifest, not an inbox.
How online booking works →Teach a national scheme? There are dedicated pages for RYA training centres, IYT schools and ASA sailing schools.

How to choose sailing booking software.
Five questions worth asking of any system — including ours.
Is availability boat-aware?
Generic booking tools model rooms and time slots. A sailing operation needs the boat, the skipper or instructor, and the trip to be scheduled together — so a yacht teaching a course on Thursday is never offered for a charter that same Thursday. If the software can’t see the boat, you’ll be the conflict-checker.
Can it sell a berth, not just a seat?
Liveaboard trips are sold by cabin and berth, at different prices for different cabins. If the tool only counts heads, cabin allocation goes back on paper.
Do bookings happen on your own website?
Marketplace listings take commission and own the customer relationship. Look for an embeddable booking widget so customers book and pay on your site, and the data stays yours.
Does it handle the paperwork around the booking?
Payments with deposits and balances, digital waivers with an audit trail, joining instructions sent automatically, crew qualification and expiry tracking. The booking is the easy part — the admin around it is what eats the week.
Does the pricing match a seasonal business?
Monthly licence fees cost the same in January as in July. A percentage of bookings scales with your season — quiet months cost nothing.
Sailing booking software — common questions.
What is sailing booking software?
Software that lets customers book and pay for sailing online — courses, charters, trips or hire — while scheduling the boats and people behind each booking. Unlike generic booking tools, it understands boats as resources: capacity, cabins and berths, crew, maintenance downtime, weather and tides.
Is Broad Reach only for sailing schools?
No. Schools are one part of it — charters, skippered trips, boat hire, mile-builders, sailing holidays and club sessions all run on the same calendar. Many customers mix several: a school that also charters its yachts at weekends runs both from one place.
Can customers book from my own website?
Yes — an embeddable booking widget drops into any website, so customers browse availability and pay without leaving your site. There’s no marketplace in the middle: no commission to a third party, and the customer relationship stays yours.
Can it sell individual cabins or berths on a trip?
Yes. Cabins are sold per berth, each at its own price — aft, fore, twin, single — with allocation and remaining capacity handled automatically. Built for mile-builders, deliveries and liveaboard trips.
What does it cost?
1.75% platform fee on bookings. No monthly fees, no per-booking caps, full platform access from sign-up — and free in months with no bookings, which matters in a seasonal business. Full pricing here.
We already use a booking system. How hard is switching?
Most operations switch in a single weekend. Courses, customers, crew and historical records import, and your existing bookings carry over. How switching works.
