Surf School Booking Software
that works around the tide.
Sessions timed to the water, taken online from your own website, with waivers signed before anyone arrives and a register you can check in from the beach. Tide times and forecast sit on the calendar you plan from.
- Beginner group · 10:00 Mon–Sun
- Improver clinic Wed–Fri
- Kids surf camp Sat–Sun
Three sessions, one beach — places pooled, never oversold.
Twelve things it does for surf schools.
A surf school runs on things that move: the tide, the forecast, how many wetsuits walked back up the beach, and whether the parent who booked four kids remembered to sign anything. This puts the sessions, the money and the paperwork in one place, and leaves the sea to do what it likes.
01 · The day’s sessions
Four sessions, one beach, and the tide moving all of them.
Your day is a handful of lessons at times the sea chooses, not times a spreadsheet chose. Each session carries its own start, price, capacity and register, and today’s board shows what is filling, what is full and what still needs a coach on it.

02 · Tides on the calendar
Tide times sit on the schedule, not in a separate tab.
Marine forecast and tide times overlay the calendar for your location, so you set next week’s session times against the water rather than against a guess. When conditions move, you can see which sessions the change actually touches.
03 · Progression
Taster to green waves, tracked as your own progression.
Surfing has no single governing catalogue, so the ladder is the one you teach: taster, beginner course, improver clinic, coaching, camp week. Every surfer’s position on it is visible, which is how the August taster becomes the September course instead of a name you half-remember.
- ✓ Taster lesson Whitewater COMPLETED
- ✓ Beginner course 3 sessions COMPLETED
- ▶ Improver clinic Session 2 of 4 IN PROGRESS
- ○ Green wave coaching Booked · Jul NEXT
- · Surf camp week Improver required LOCKED
04 · Coaching notes
What they can actually do, recorded session by session.
Pop-up, paddling, positioning, catching unbroken waves — ticked off on a phone in the car park while it is fresh. The next coach opens the register and knows who is ready for the outside and who is still working on the pop-up.
- ✓ Paddling technique and positioning Signed
- ✓ Consistent pop-up Signed
- ✓ Catching unbroken waves Signed
- Angled take-off
- Trimming along the face
05 · Coach compliance
Lifeguard awards, first aid, DBS and safeguarding — before they lapse.
Teaching in the sea, often with children, means a stack of certificates that all expire on different dates. Track each one per coach with reminders ahead of the date. It is also the folder you want to hand over the moment anyone asks.
- Surf coach — Level 2 exp Aug 2027 Valid
- Beach lifeguard award exp Jun 2026 Expiring soon
- First aid at work exp Apr 2026 Due
- Safeguarding (working with children) exp Feb 2027 Valid
- DBS check exp Jan 2028 Valid
06 · The register
Who is in the water, and who signed.
Every surfer on the session with their waiver state, on a phone at the beach. Parties booked together stay together, so a family of four is a family of four rather than four unconnected names.

07 · Private coaching
One-to-ones and dawn patrols, on the same calendar.
Private coaching, video analysis sessions and small-group bookings at their own hours and prices, sitting alongside the scheduled lessons rather than in a separate notebook.

08 · Waivers & under-18s
Consent signed before they get to the beach.
Attach a waiver to any session and it is signed digitally with an audit trail. When one parent books four children and names nobody, everyone in the party gets their own signing link — which is a great deal better than a clipboard, a biro and a queue in the wind.
Available now09 · Check-in
A QR code on their phone, a tap on yours.
Guests arrive with a QR code on the confirmation email. Scan it and their whole party comes up; one tap checks them all in. Somebody booked for six and named only themselves? Add the names on the spot and send the waiver there and then.
Available now10 · Book on your own site
Bookings taken on your site, not a marketplace’s.
An embeddable widget takes the booking and the payment inline — card, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Your customer stays on your domain, and the booking is yours rather than a listing site’s.
Available now11 · Gift cards
Sell lessons as presents, redeem them any time.
Gift cards sold straight from your website with no admin involvement, spendable on any session you run. Christmas money in December for lessons you deliver in July.

1.75%, and nothing added to your customer’s total.
No monthly fee and no per-booking cap. A flat, windless off-season costs you nothing, and a packed August is still profitable.

It understands a session, not just a ticket.
Places, coach ratios, waivers, a register and coaching notes all hang off the same session. Generic activity bookers sell a ticket and stop; the rest of your morning is the part they leave you to do on paper.
The paperwork for teaching children, handled.
Individual waiver links for every child in a party, an audit trail behind each one, and coach DBS, safeguarding and lifeguard awards tracked with expiry dates. That is the folder you want ready before anyone asks for it.

Surf school booking software — questions we get asked.
Does it show tide times?
Yes. Tide times and the marine forecast overlay the calendar for your location, so you set session times against the water. It does not move sessions for you — you decide the times and the tide is there in front of you while you do it.
Can parents sign waivers for their children?
Yes, and this is the case it was built for. Attach a waiver to a session and it is signed digitally with a full audit trail. Where a booking has places that were never named — one parent booking four children — each person in the party gets their own signing link rather than the booker signing for everyone.
Does it track coach qualifications?
Yes. Coaching awards, beach lifeguard, first aid, safeguarding and DBS, each with its own expiry date per coach, with reminders before anything lapses.
Does it manage board and wetsuit hire?
Not as tracked stock, and we would rather say so than let you find out later. There is no equipment-hire inventory that decrements when a large wetsuit goes out. You can sell hire as part of a session price or as a separate bookable session, but the software will not tell you that you have run out of larges.
Is there a surfing syllabus pre-loaded?
No. Sailing, diving and aviation have governing-body catalogues that ship with the platform; surfing does not have an equivalent that we pre-load. You define your own levels, sessions and progression — which is what most surf schools do anyway, since the ladder tends to be the school’s own.
Can customers book and pay on our own website?
Yes. An embeddable widget puts the whole booking inline on your own site — session, places, guest details and payment by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe.
What does it cost?
1.75% platform fee on bookings. No monthly fees, no per-booking caps, and free in months you take no bookings. Full pricing here.
